American musician, producer and fashion designer Pharrell Williams was named to succeed Virgil Abloh, who dies in November 2021, as artistic director of Louis Vuitton's men's collections, the brand announced on Twitter.
For this collaboration, Pharrell Williams and Tyler, The Creator draw inspiration from school uniforms and golf outfits. The silhouettes feature a mix of dark and colorful tones, recalling the springtime spirit of this capsule. They are adorned with the Craggy Monogram, a symbol designed by Tyler, The Creator. To decorate the collaboration, the Monogram Flower joins the two emblematic graphics of the American artist: the daisy and the Airedale Terrier.
