Vinyl at its base, this sculpture from KAWS is a skull-faced man lying on his back, holding a fluorescent moon. He is primarily painted in gray and wears playful Micky Mouse–styled shorts with big boots. He has X's on his eyes, hands, and feet. The 9.5-inch figurine’s moon is the white of a full moon and is symbolic of the mid-autumn festival that takes place in North Bund in Shanghai, where citizens light lanterns for good fortune for the seasons to come.
