The New Balance 9060 in Driftwood / Sea Salt reinterprets the iconic 99X design with a futuristic, Y2K-inspired aesthetic and exaggerated proportions.

A mesh upper with pigskin suede overlays creates a layered look, while expanded sway bars and wavy lines add a dynamic sense of movement. The sculpted pod midsole combines dual-density ABZORB and SBS cushioning for a responsive, cushioned feel. Heritage details complete the design: a tongue logo inspired by the original 991 lace jewel, a translucent CR device at the heel and a diamond-pattern outsole inspired by the classic 860.
